Back to normal and time to get back at it.
Ok looks we're back to normal, wind and rain, good to see. Life around the ranch is back to normal with a bout of no power then no cable and a lot of brances to pick up.I hope you all were spared any inconvenience. (former Chuckit coach Ruth Perkins at left)
The mid week workouts are posted http://runningnw.com/new/index.php/training/mid-week-plans and we shouldn't have much problem getting this done, maybe a little wind but compared to last week this will be nothing. If you want to have your mid workout posted just go to the roster and put your name in a group. http://runningnw.com/new/index.php/roster.
With the new year and new adventures at many events I've come with a little dodad to records your results. I entered the results for Nookachamps and Houston so you can see how things went http://runningnw.com/new/index.php/training/member-results-2012. I might say there were some great results especially at the half. For many a great way to start the year and if nothing else a great workout. Glen was out at Nookchamps taking some pictures heres a link. https://picasaweb.google.com/
I myself was at the US Olympic Marathon Trials, quite an event with some great perfromances. I was able to get great credentials which allowed me to be up close and personal with the participants before during and after the races. Here is an image gallery I took of the races. http://runningnw.com/new/index.php/about-chuckit/photos/category/7-2012-olympic-marathon-trials I took about 500 pics so chances were good that I would one or two good ones.
For those planning marathons this spring time to get on the stick. Wait much longer and it will be a real chore getting in the work that will be needed to make your run successful. If you need a little help with your training plan let me know and I can try and fix it up for you.
